There is so much to do in the local area.

Places well worth visiting are

Montgo is the Mountain which you can see from the double bedroom. It is called locally the elephant because the part streching out towards the sea looks like an elephant’s trunk and part of the rock formation also looks like his eye. There are lots of lovely walks in the area but often we will take our car to the tip of his trunk which is a large flat peninsular called Cap de Sant Antoni. Here you can walk out on the peninsular with amazing panoramic views of the area and sea, including Ibiza in the distance.

El Castell de Guadalest About an hour from the villa this beautiful fortified town is well worth a visit.

Font de algar A walk around a series of waterfalls and ponds where you swim to keep cool with restaurants and cafes for refreshments .

The town Calpe is a short drive down the coast. Home to the huge rock (penan Ifach) that sits out to sea and that you can see from the villa. Two lovely beaches with long flat promenades lined with restaurants.

Denia town is the other side of Montgo mountain The old town has a castle. Denia also has a large marina as well as beaches.
